Training contract September 2017

We are looking for an LPC graduate with at least a Commendation and relevant commercial electives, or an offer of a training place could be made conditional on such outcomes. You will also have a 2:1 at degree level, and a commendation or better on the GDL, if you took it.

This is a full time training contract based at our offices at Moorgate in the City of London.

You will gain the same sort of commercial experience as you would in a large City firm, but as part of a smaller and highly focussed team. We all work in an open plan office, so you will receive constant supervision, and learn from those around you. Working as part of the transaction team you will gain hands on experience, and more opportunities to meet clients and other professionals, than you would in a larger organisation.

You need to be willing to take responsibility for your own learning, as well as for progressing client matters in a timely manner. It is important that you recognise the need to ask questions and check things with the partner who has conduct of the matter – this is a training position. You will be flexible, hardworking and willing to work outside normal working hours when the need arises. You will be expected to time record from the start of your contract with your target hours increasing over the period of your training contract.
