REN Legal achieves recognition in the Aviation 100 Law Firm of the Year Award 2016
London City firm, REN Legal, is proud to have been ranked as a top 5 firm in the “Law Firm of the Year” category of the Airline Economics ‘Aviation 100’ awards 2016, which is now in its sixth year, and is one of the largest events of its kind.
The award is a great accolade and a reminder of REN Legal’s outstanding achievements in the last year. It is an excellent start to 2016 for the London City firm.
Partner, Adam Longney, attributes this success to a number of factors: “To be considered by the industry as one of the pre-eminent law firms is testimony to REN Legal’s unswerving focus. We are very proud to have been nominated, and to discover that our share of the vote was near the top of the rankings, particularly as voting is by peers from across the aviation industry. We look forward to further developing the breadth and depth of our expertise in aviation finance and leasing, and building even stronger partnerships with our clients.”
REN Legal acts for the world’s largest aircraft and aircraft engine leasing companies, alongside airlines, leading banks, rolling stock and equipment lessors, private equity funds and listed companies. REN Legal’s asset finance practice covers the full spectrum of asset finance transactions and the firm recently won the 2016 Corporate INTL Magazine Global Award for Leasing Transactions ‘Law Firm of the Year in England’ award.
The ‘Aviation 100’ top ten rankings are based primarily on an industry survey vote. Nominations for each category are also accepted and are judged using specific criteria including: deals worked on, aerospace clients on books, value of deals worked on and the number of cases closed. REN Legal captured 10.38% of the vote, while the winner achieved 11.97%, illustrating what a close run category it was.
